I will be renovating my kitchen in a few weeks. My concern is with the installation of the ceramic floor. The previous owners installed linolium floors over 3/4" plywood. My contractor said that he can lay my ceramic tiles over the linolium after screwing it down all over to make sure it won't ever lift. He also said that the linolium will work well as a barier between the plywood and ceramic tiles. Can you give me your opinion on installing ceramic over linolium.
