Thanks for your help. I ended up getting him a Porter Cable Nail Gun KIT for just over $300. It shoots 3/4" to 2 1/2" (whatever that means). My husband gave me quite an adoring look when I gave it to him. He needed a compressor anyway so the kit came in handy. Maybe for Christmas I will get him a cordless one or just a different gun that he can use for stuff other than finshing! I'll pay attention to what he's looking at from now on. Thanks again!
