Options to fix sagging floor joists

Our fifty year old, two story, house has a block
foundation and the floor joists for the first floor
are set in notches in the top of the block foundation
wall. The foundation block was not originally
water-proofed on the outside and the outside grading
allowed water to saturate the block and the bottoms of
some of the floor joists. Over time, the bottom corners
of the joists softened leaving a bouncy floor. I've long
since corrected the water problem (I installed a
French drain around the house, coated the foundation
wall, and re-graded, so the original water problem has
been solved). I've also since supported the affected floor
joists with a beam and floor jack arrangement. The
floor is fine, but I never considered the fix to be a
permanent one. What's the best way to permanently fix
the sagging floor joists?
