We just recently purchased a home built in 1928. I do know for a fact that there are hardwood floors under the carpeting. when looking at the floor underneath the carpeting,we noticed the pad that was used left some type of sheen. We think that it might possibly be glue. What can I do to remove the sheen and possible glue?
