My son recently rented a house that has proved to have a type of asbestos wall board. There are areas where asbestos fibres are observed. It was not revealed by the owner that in fact there was asbestos in the home. Can my son be released from his rental lease? Also, who would be a reliable source to come in and check and see if the asbestos wallboard is actually dangerous.
