I stuggled with the same thing Posted by Stegve on November 3rd, 2000 08:10 PM In reply to repairing hardwood floor boards by Terri on November 3rd, 2000 04:20 PM [Go to top of thread]
When I went to refinsh the floors in my old house, I found several areas with surface termit damage. In the living room I filled an area with bondo (ya bondo for cars) and another area with elmers oak wood fill, and in the bed room 'cause I missed it until sealer day, lots of sealer and the kitchen (which I stripped, but have yet to do anything with it - except of couse pamper my wife daily and assure her I will redo it this century). All of these solutions I can live with. What I have learned is that when I go to do the kitchen, I will cut out the boards affected and replace them.
