Phil, that Delta 10 inch is a good table saw for do it your selvers. It has a depth adjustment, a angle adjustment, and a pretty good fence. I have one that I use to build decks with and I got it because of its tremendous portability. The only trouble that I have is cutting long (12foot) boards. You do need extra wings or horses to the side for support.
