I have a recessed area in one room where I would like to construct shelves. It is 93.5" wide and 13" deep. The problem is that we live in a very old house and this wall is an outside wall, therefore the wall is approximately a half inch of horsehair plaster over brick. How would I secure the shelves to the wall? Thanks for any ideas you may have.
