Don't know much about materials but my wife seems to have luck with a product I use to clean my hands after working on the car. DL hand cleaner, try auto parts places. Also fast Orange -K-Mart. Also latex paint brush cleaner at most DIY's. At this point you don't have much to lose. Need to us these before washing but have had some luck afterwards.
