We recently bought a 1953 stuco house. It as hardwood floors in the living room and dinning aera. The floors are badly stained and have paint splatters on them. Parts of the floor are weak and give under prssure. I would like to restore them but I have no idea how to go about this, is it best just to replace or repair the orginial? The previous owners put down a cheap carpet to hide the floors. I would appreciate any ideas or feedback. Thank you for your help
