Fiberglass is non porus thus you could have used about any cleaner to cleanse them. Marine cleaner might have been too far of an extreme cleaner, especially in the case of tender thighs and such.
I would get some 409 or Windex cleaner and wipe down the chairs especially the seat area to remove any left over residue from the marine stuff.
