Hi There! I just read your e-mail regarding the remodeling process you'd like. WOW! It will be beautiful but require a lot of hard work. You need to rip out all the walls you want out, then stip out all the old plaster, next... clean it all up, then starrt the new wiring. We did all that and we are still putting in the banister, only our staircase is not going up to the attic! That would be awesome!! I love it too. Our home is 1921. Good luck! Nancy & Dave Summers
