My husband and I have just purchased a home that was built in the 60's. The den has one wall with paneling, a white brick fireplace, 2 walls with Wainscoating and painted surface and 1 wall with wainscoating and wallpaper. My question is: 1 How affective are the suede finished, like Ralph Lauren. I have seen these at Home Depot, but are expensive, and 2 Could I simply paint over all those different walls?
