Thanks for the input. I purchased about 130' of the moulding yesterday. I wound up buying a manual mitre saw but someone offered to let me use their electric one - I think I'll take advantage of that. Actually, after hearing of what you used it for, that at least gives me some reasons to have my own. I believe I have everything now. I've been trying to figure out if there is any strategy to nail placement but I have to worry about cutting and painting the moulding first. After that, we'll see what kind of tools I should look at for doing some basic furniture around the house. (i.e. book cases, toy boxes, etc.)
