20'X30' addition to a 100yr. house w/stone foundation

I'm considering a 20'X30' two story addition to a 100yr. farm house with a field stone foundation and ballon framing. The existing house has a 6' clear basement/cellar. I'm not sure how to tie the new foundation with the old and if possible create a 7'6 clear basement under the addition.
