Tried every breaker again last night, by myself. Several trips up and down the stairs to the basement I found that the switch is on the same breaker that controls a good portion of the first floor(the kitchen, an A/C, and a family room). I knew that the particular breaker controlled those things, so in my checking every breaker I did not check that one because I ASS UMED that it would only control the downstairs and the upstairs MUST be on its own!
