Hi! I just bought my first home..and as a single mom, a mobile home is about the only kind I could conceivably afford :) I am a 'fix-it-upper' but i know that mobile homes are constructed MUCH differently than your 'normal' home. (No drywall for one major thing). I need to widen two doorways, rip out the tub unit and install a walkin shower unit in it's place and a few other goodies. I have two questions. One, does anyone out there have any previous experience working on mobile homes, and two, where does one go to get doors, shower stalls and equip that is made especially for mobile homes, which need to use light weight materials? Any help appreciated..and Bob..if you happen to spot this..how about a show on mobile Homes?
