My recommendation for flooring is Armstrong or Mannington sheet vinyl. You should put down an exterior grade 1/4" luan stapled every 4" in the center and 2" on the seams, using subfloor staples 7/8"-1 1/8" in a subfloor stapler. Most all tool rental shops will have these.
