I am in the process of installing new flooring in my kitchen and will have to move the stove. I feel comfortable remove the sove and disconnecting the gas line and shutting the gas off. However, is there a special sealant or thread tape that i would use when reconnecting the gas line to the stove. I have no plan to modify anything, just move the stove and then put it back.
