I'll be replacing the paneling in my home with outdoor, wood, tongue/groove siding. I'll be replacing the insulation as I do this, since prior leaks may have caused mold and mildew. That's something to look for. I'll be able to stain the wood any color I like and create a thicker barrier than flimsy paneling. The thickness should show on my lower heating bills. This will be cleaner and less costlier than drywalling, mudding, and painting.
