I want to put down a tile floor in my kitchen. I have stripped the old flooring down to the original floor of the house, which is an old wood slat floor. What I would like to know is, what do I cover it with before I start tiling? Many people are telling me to use 3/4 cdx plywood and then wonder board or thin set on top. Please let me know what you think.
