The face brick on the front of my house has been painted. I have heard that removing it by sandblasting the brick destroys the surface of the brick. I don't know whether this is true. I have also heard people say that hiring someone to remove it with an acid high pressure wash is preferrable. If anyone has helpful information/advice I'd be delighted to hear it.
