I want to finish off our basement in connecticut. the walls are poured concrete and the basement is always dry although we do run a dehumidifier during the summer. i would like to use furring strips and 3/8" drywall to save space but am not sure if I should add insulation. if I cover the walls without insulation will i develop moisture problems? if i should insulate what type should i use? i will be adding heat but the space will only be used as a recreation area. any help would be appreciated. thanks
