I need help identifying the correct materials needed to paint over my formica countertop. I understand that I need to rough up the formica with sandpaper, then is there an undercoat I can use as a primer that will help insure durability and adhesion? What paint/enamel is recommended, and finally, is there a clearcoat that would help protect it all? It is a kitchen countertop so it will get a lot of wear...thanks!
