Is there a general rule of thumb for spacing out 2'x2' ceiling lights (ie: 1 fixture per xxx sq. ft.) in my drop ceiling. The entire basement is lit with conventional bulbs now and seems somewhat inadequate. I have been told that once I replace the lights with the 2x2 tubes, the lighting will improve greatly. Thank you all, you are mading this entire project of finishing my basement myself much easier.
