Hi Lori, It is important that you get shutters the exact size of your windows in length - as Bruce said as not to look bad. Unfortunatly that doesn't mean that a standard size window will take a standard size shutter. Be careful, the dimentions are usually only approximations and the actual size may be different. Be sure to fully research and verify what you are purchasing is exactly what you want. Most known manufactures will have sizing tables, even for the widths, to help you get what would be best.
