Any ideas on an efficient way to retro-fit the supply vents on what was the original gravity feed system in my 1926 bungalow? The current vents are HUGE (15" x 30"). Air flow is getting tricky with a new forced hot-air furnace and additional ducts added on the the first floor. To make matters worse, in the original gravity feed system the return ducts were placed immediately next to the supplies (returns on the floor; supplies on wall), so the returns are apt to suck hot air back into the furnace -- not good.
