Jack D - Thanks for your advice. The idea you suggested was already being kicked around but with two young kids and two dogs I didn't want to take any chances. You're right I always wash up now after any "project" and I don't think my dinner menu will include any paint residue salad, so I'll just dive into the project with both hands and a mask/gloves.
