Well Teresa, I have done this many times. You could buy a cookie cutter at a local carpet dupplies co, but they cost about $30.00 and they cut a hole about 2 inches. I have found that if you get a clear tube of hot glue gun and use a pair of sissors and cut up some carpet nap and put a little dab of glue in the hole, this will work, but you have to have the carpet backing to glue to.
