I felt sure that you meant to mention it since your subject mentioned codes. Just thought I'd continue what you started and your city did exactly what I would have suggested. I've seen a lot of pool owners fill in their pools because of liability or cost of maint. or upkeep. Your right about pools floating out of the ground, as will hot tubs and septic tanks if they're not weighted. Seen it many times.
