I live in a rural area and am looking to install a patio (20' x 17') off of my deck. Unfortunately, my septic tank is actually located under part of the same area that I have sketched for my patio! Yikes! Knowing that the septic tank is accessed at both ends, removeable pavers appear to be my best option. My wife and I are expecting our first child in March and are trying to find the least expensive patio solution. Although I don't have any quotes yet, I have read that having a third party come in to lay the pavers can be pricey. Has anyone run into this problem before? Are there cement/aggregate solutions to this problem (i.e., lift out squares within the patio)? I'm not sure which way to turn and thought this would be my best start. Don't know if this will work, but here's a pic of my dilemma:
