bc, I have not taken out the old sink/vanity yet. I am just planning and wanted to find out if I should line up a plumber. The sink specs. looks as though the "leg" of the pedestal should fall 4" off of the wall and the opening of the leg is 4" wide, so it looks like I will need to move the hot/cold pipes closer together. Again, it this something a homeowner can do? Will I need to cut and reconnect these pipes? Or can I remove some of the wall, move the pipes, and resecure them? We are putting wainscoting on the walls, so some of the sins will be hidden. Thanks again for your help! -Steve
