We have a "chirping" sound in our house!

seems to be coming from the ceiling area...somehow I'm thinking it must be the ductwork...

It is definitely not a mouse, squirrel, or bird. Hard to describe a sound...but it is either a squeak or chirp.

And...in the nighttime...I hear pops coming from the roof area when I'm upstairs. That must be from the cold...
