I want to install a gas dryer in a location with poor outside wall access. The furnace chimney is nearby, with the gas water heater vented into this through a 6 inch opening in the chimney. How could I vent the dryer into this chimney, without the risk of dumping lint into the chimney? Could I somehow further filter the exhaust from the dryer before the chimney? Any other suggestions?
