In my basement renovation plans, a wall will be built around the furnace and water heater. For access, I will be installing a door. My question is, can a solid door be installed?
I'm concerned about the air flow issues for the furnace. There will be minimal space around the two units (but enough for a person to access the temperature settings and remove the air filter for cleaning).
