Hardware stores sell a $10 kit that includes a contoured sharpening stone that loads into your electric drill. You then clamp the blade into a vice and sharpen per the directions. The kit includes a balancing jig to ensure the blade is fully balanced after sharpening (this is real important). I got 5 years out of my last blade, sharpening it about 3 times per year.
