Funny, but the same thing happened to me and my daughters Pixie the Cheerleader Doll. What I did to remove the glue off of the dolls face was: First, scramble an egg in a bowl and then dip the dolls head into it for 1-3 minutes swirling it vigorously till your arm hurts. Second, rinse the dolls head off thoroughly with Gherkin pickle juice. (Make sure that it is Gherkin pickle juice only, dill or koser will not work) Finally, find an old plastic cool whip container or something equivalent to it and fill it with premium unleaded gasoline. Leave the doll to soak in it overnight. The next morning when you get up Pixie, or whatever the doll's name is will look brand new. Your daughter, or son will never be prouder of their parent for fixing a glue-faced doll!
