Should one put footings under those jacks? I'm in the middle of renovating my house which seems to have settled some into the middle. Now you've got me wondering if I should have jacked it. I'm getting ready to install ceramic tile in the kitchen. I've already replastered a few middle walls. Now I would worry that I might start cracking the work I've already done. Any comments?
