A tip on dandylions and other certain types of lawn weeds, I have used. A sprinkle of sulphate of amonia (21-0-0) on the offending plant will quickly "burn" and kill the plant. When the offending plant looks dead, usally within a couple of days, water a
nd the lawn grass will quickly fill the spot.
