A question about underlayment for sheet vinyl. We are buildimg a new home and have been told to put luan down (nailed every 4 inches) as an underlaymet on top of the new subfloor. After a little research there seems to be a question of discoloration in bathrooms and kitchens. Is it better to use exterior grade plywood or go with the luan in these high moisture areas.
