I'm finishing a luan door and don't want to to stain it, just put a finish over it to give it a shine. I'd like advice on which finish would be best. Also it has been suggested to me to use "Tung oil", but I'm not sure about this either. Another person advised a mixture of shellac and varnish cut with some paint thinner. Any ideas on this? ANY help would be greatly appreciated. The more I look the more confused I get. Thank you.
