The parquet in my foyer is showing signs of age. The stain actually looks as if it is worn off on the edge of a couple of the squares. It is a large foyer and I would like to know if there is an easy way to refinish and seal.It dosen't have to be perfect. I am just afraid if I leave it much longer it will be further damaged. The house is 20+ but when we moved in 3 years ago I found a box with extra unfinished parquet in it. We have found many things where the previous owner did a quick, but not lasting, fix. I think he may have put new parquet down, stained and may not have sealed. I have no idea.
