We bought a Sears electric lawnmower (which was highly recommded by Consumer Reports). The switch on the first one failed immediately and we were given a second mower. The switch on the second one has now failed (about two years later). Sears says they will sell us a switch, but they won't install it because it has to be soldered to the motor. They'd be happy to replace the switch *and* the motor, for just about the price of a new mower. What can we do?
