I concur w/Billy. Do realize that after the stumps are ground down, that won't necessarily do much to the grading. The ground and roots nearest the house will still be 'high'. You'll still have to chop up that area BUT, the good news is, depending on how good of a job the Tree Surgeon does, you may be able to use the tree's 'trunk cavity' as a backfill location. Then again, you may need to haul some of the dirt/roots/chips away.
