Jay - thanks for the comments. I just bought a house in Arlington, VA with asbestos cement shingles and I knew nothing about it until I read your comments. One question -- what if I want to hang, say, a hose rack on the outside of the house? Can I drill into the siding or do I run a risk with the asbestos?
