I am an installer in indiana for a door company. My best advice on this is to call your local door co. and leave it to them. I can assure you these springs will hurt you! I have installed & serviced them for 14 years and am still very cautious winding & unwinding them. I have saw countless men make a trip to the hospital and then call our company to finish the job. trust me,on this and you'll keep all your fingers
