We live in a copy of a Frank Lloyd Wright house. It was built completely with bricks or cement.
It has poured cement ceilings on the first floor and suspended plaster on the 2nd. It had radiator heat but the system and lines are shot. The water lines to the system have broke and we have massive leaks. We want to install a whole new system but can't figure out a way to put something in that won't upset the astetic quality of the house.
It has been suggested to put in the exposed pipe heat in the 1st floor, but because it has cement beams in the ceiling, it won't look right. We are desparate. This is a unique house and I would hate to ruin the look of it just to put in heat that is more convenient for the contractor.
