I have an old round poker table with a felt top that I would like to create a removable solid table top for.
The idea is to make a cover that doubles as a table top so I can use it for things other than playing cards. I don't want to worry about ruining the felt top. I'm looking for ideas on material, pointers, etc...
I would like something that is easy to clean spills off of but doesn't look cheap. I would also want to create about a 2-3 inch lip around the perimeter of the top to protect against spills anything getting under the top.
