I have front porch posts (columns) about every 12 to 14 feet. I want to put up porch railing (spindels into a support board below and hand rail above). I have seen some easy to use kits with prefab boards and spindels, but the maximum length is 6 feet. I don't think I can support the "middle" area since the porch is made of concrete and a middle post would not be secure. Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated by this new homeowner.
