Can someone PLEASE give me any hints/ suggestions on opening a window that has been painted shut? I live in an apartment in a very old school building and have beautiful, arched, 10-ft windows. Problem is, most of them have been painted shut. Landlord won't return my calls, so I'm taking this into my own hands! I've used a utility knife to try to break the seal around the sides, but I still can't open it. Please tell me there's something else I can do (besides hire a big strong guy to open it for me!)
